Blockbuster 101 is my attempt to create a graphic novel. The original idea was to write a script and find someone else to draw it, but I was unable to do so; my meticulous script couldn’t quite convey the piece even after fourteen drafts.

In other words, I needed art to get art.

Although I’m an experienced graphic designer, my drawing skills hadn’t progressed far beyond the fourth grade. However, with the help of YouTube, advice from artists (mostly my kid Asher), and practice (plus an iPad Pro), I hope to adequately tell the story on my own.

I’m what might be charitably called a polymath (read: flake). I have no idea how far I’ll get, but, for the time being, I’ll post my work-in-progress here.
